1/28/17 - Cox is a 5-foot-10 160-pound right-handed hitting outfielder and right handed pitcher in Kansas’ 2019 class.  He ran a 6.95 60 and a 4.06 home to first.  He has a 91 mph exit velo and is a quick twitch athlete with an athletic build.  At the plate, 92 mph exit velo, balanced set up, short stride with rhythm in hands, some hand load, mostly pull side contact during hitting evaluations. In the outfield, loose and quick over the top arm action, quick catch and throw, momentum through the catch, works behind the ball. On the mound, Cox has a smooth delivery and throws downhill, threw top fastball velo for the event topping at 85 mph, working 83-85 mph, shows cutting action at times, arm slot will drop but mostly over the top, curveball has 11-to-5 shape, 67-68 mph, early break, down in the zone, change up at 73-73 mph, near fastball arm speed, bottom of zone, throws with some effort, quick arm speed.
