8/13/17- 6-foot-3, 190 pound two way player ran a 7.6 60 yard sprint. Athletic build with present strength in lower half. Ranked #100 in the Kansas 2019 rankings. At the plate, wide open stance, short stride triggers linear swing path. Multiple ground balls to shortstop during round of BP. Posted an 80 mph exit velocity. Active feet in the infields, works down and up through his body, long ¾ release that topped out at 72 mph across the infield. On the mound, topped out at 75 mph with his fastball. Simple repeatable delivery, arm is short on the backside and loose out-front. Athletic finish. Threw strikes with 63-66 mph breaking ball, loose spin, avg. depth. Heavy 65-67 mph change with run to his arm side, left up in the strike zone.

5/31/16 - Reed is a 6-foot-3 175-pound right-handed hitting shortstop in Kansas 2019 class.  He ran a 7.65 60 and a 4.38 home-to-first, one of the top RHH times for the event.  Has an exit velo of 73 mph. At the plate, balanced set up, showed power to the pull side with gap-to-gap approach, smooth rhythm, singled to left in game action. On the infield, high three quarters release, fields ball in athletic position, ready to throw, fluid footwork, mostly accurate throws, 67 mph positional velo.
