Slight turn at balance, hides ball, strides slightly across body, falls off first base side. Fastball 76-78 mph. Breaking ball with 11/5 shape, gradual action, 63-65 mph. Change-up has sinking movement at bottom of the zone, 67-68 mph.
8/17/14 - Combes is a 5-foot-8, 135-pound right-hand hitting outfielder. During batting practice showed a tall set-up, open stance, strides inline, smooth hand load, slight pull approach, 74 mph exit velocity. 4.50 home to first base, 7.06 60-yard dash. Attacked the ball in the outfield, clean exchanges, short three-quarters arm action, 76 mph throwing velocity, all accurate throws.
