8/5/`5 - Fry is a 5-foot-10 160-pound switch-hitting catcher.  Fry runs a 8.09 60 and has a righty exit velo of 80 mph and lefty exit velo of 82 mph.  At the plate, smooth load into back leg from both sides, toe tap, strong hands, level path to extension from both side, gap-to-gap approach.  Behind the plate, 2.15 to 2.27 pop times, 74 mph positional velo, conventional over-the-top release, fluid footwork, clean exchange, throws mostly around bag.

6/3/14 - C Jared Fry (’16 Eudora) posted the top catchers pop time with a 1.96.

1/4/14 - Fry is a 5-foot-9, 160-pound switch-hitting catcher. He made mostly accurate throws from behind the plate with a top velocity of 72 mph and 2.24 pop time.  Left-handed he hits from a tall set-up and closed stance.  He has a long closed stride, minimal hand load with level bat path.  From the right side he also has a tall set-up but a slightly open stance and strides inline with a similarly level bat path as his left-handed swing.  He showed good rhythm, loose hands and good extension from both sides of the plate.  His top exit velocity left-handed was 80 mph, right-handed 78.
