8/14/16- 6-foot-2, 165-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder. 6.89 runner with tall projectable frame. Open stance. Simple swing. Repeats well. Even with high back elbow; bat path is clean and long through contact. 85 mph exit velocity off tee. In the infield, active feet, funnels through the body to a quick ¾ accurate release at 80 mph. On the mound, topped out at 85 mph with his fastball. Drop and drive off his backside. Arm breaks clean from the backside with an athletic follow through out front.
6/28/16 - Haggard is a 6-foot-2, 160-pound athletic and projectable right-hand hitting middle infielder and right-handed pitcher. Balanced set-up at the plate, open stance, good bat speed, minimal hand load, extension through the baseball, maintains balance throughout, 82 mph exit velocity. 4.77 home to first base from the right side. 7.04 60-yard dash time. Defensively, Haggard had good actions, attacked the ball, clean exchanges, loose arm action, fluid footwork, 76 mph throwing velocity with very accurate throws. On the mound Haggard showed a smooth, clean and repeatable delivery with good direction and loose arm action from his high ¾ release point. Fastball was 81-84 mph and his curveball was 71-74 mph with tight break, good action and 11/5 shape. Mixed pitches well during game action with an abundance of strikes. Did not allow a hit. Very athletic class of 2017 prospect.

2015 All-NCKL

6/2/15 - Jayton is a 6'2 155-pound right hand hitting short stop and right handed pitcher from Marysville. Shows athleticism on the mound and during defensive evaluations, posting a 7.07 60/yd he can also run. Moves well to the ball with fluid actions and throws with some carry a top velo of 75 mph, good easy and quick exchanges without extra movement or wasted time. Took a good round of BP with a open stance, wide balanced base and a simple short quick bat through the zone with some loft with good hands and a exit velo of 82 mph. Smooth easy arm action with a high 3/4 slot and repeatable delivery and gets out front with his release point with fastball max of 79 mph and 76-78 mph and a curve-ball that ranged from 60-62 in game action.

2014 All-NCKL - 1st Team
10/19/14 - Haggard is a thin, athletic 6-foot-2, 150-pound right-hand hitting shortstop and right-handed pitcher that earned First Team All-League honors as a freshman. Balanced set-up at the plate, open stance, minimal hand load, strides inline, maintains balance, simple swing, gap-to-gap approach, exit velocity 74 mph. Ran a 7.41 60-yard dash and 4.58 home to first. Went 1-for-4 with a double and stolen base in game action. During defensive evaluations at shortstop fielded everything cleanly, short arm action, easy arm, all accurate throws, 73 mph throwing velocity. On the mound delivery is under control early, tucks at balance, strides inline, three-quarters arm slot, arm works, athletic finish, good overall rhythm, simple delivery. Fastball with early arm side run, occasional cutting action, 75-78 mph. 12/6 curveball 63-65 mph. Class of 2017 prospect with projectable frame, plenty of room to fill out.
6/18/14 - Haggard is a long-legged, athletic 6-foot-1, 160-pound right-handed pitcher.  He showed a deliberate, under control, simple delivery and throws with quick, clean three-quarters arm action.  His fastball was clocked in the 77-79 mph range most with arm-side run.  He also features a 60-62 12/6 breaking ball.  In the game he threw a very high percentage of strikes and was very efficient working through seven batters in only 15 pitches.  Haggard signed up for this event as a pitcher-only but is also a talented class of 2017 prospect as a shortstop.
