6/28/16- Alpough is a 6-foot-2, 200 pound left-handed submarine pitcher in Kansas’ 2017 class from St. Thomas Aquinas HS. Alpough’s delivery is smooth with little effort and fairly consistent. Fastball was between 66-72 mph with some arm side run. He would come around the ball occasionally allowing for some cut. Arm slot would raise slightly when throwing the slider and was between 62-65 mph. During game action Alpough’s command was erratic at times but when in the zone he forced numerous ground balls.
