6/28/15 - Base is a left handed hitting first baseman and left handed pitcher from Abilene HS in Abilene, KS. Base runs a7.09 60, a 4.29 home to first and an 89 mph exit velo. While working at 1B, Base posted an 74 mph positional velo, with clean exchanges and moves well and has good footwork.  During batting practice, Base showed an aggressive and loose swing with good bat speed.  He has a balanced and athletic set-up with a simple load and compact swing. On the mound, Base worked 75-78 mph with his fastball, and showed a 2-to-8 breaking ball at 69 mph. His breaking ball served as a wipeout pitch as it has sharp action and was tough for batters to pick up from his delivery. Base’s delivery shows some balance and includes a high ¾ release with good momentum and direction towards the plate.
2015 All-NCKL

6/2/15 - Parker is a 6'1" 200-pound left hand hitting corner infielder and outfielder from Abilene. Shows good hands and glove fielding the ball around the bag is fluid with clean exchanges and accurate throws across the infield. Top positional velo is 78 mph. Can run well and get up the line quickly.Starts with a slightly open stance, maintains balance and athleticism with a wide base and short compact swing and exit velo of 87 mph.

2014 All-NCKL - Honorable Mention
10/19/14 - Base is a strong 6-foot-1, 195-pound left-hand hitting first baseman and outfielder that has already racked up All-League honors during his freshman campaign at Abilene HS. Balanced set-up at the plate, open stance, strides inline, early hand load, upper half dominant, maintains balance throughout. Showed oppo juice in batting practice, recorded an 87 mph exit velocity in hitting drills – one of the top marks in camp. Runs well for a physical player registering a 7.15 60-yard dash. At first base showed quick hands and feet, clean exchanges, short three-quarters arm action, 78 mph throwing velocity, all accurate throws.
