Had a fluid and clean defensive evaluation, gets into a good fielding position at third base with some accurate throws at a top positional velo of 74 mph. On the mound repeats his delivery with short arm action from a 3/4 slot. Lands square and inline with his target working his fastball 73-74 mph and a max fastball of 75 mph while mixing in a 66-67 mph curve-ball. A easy right handed swing with balance and extension making good solid contact during BP with a exit velo of 85 mph.

10/19/14 - Williams is a 6-foot, 175-pound right-hand hitting third baseman and catcher. At the plate has a tall set-up, inline stance, early hand load/stride, level bat path, maintains balance and finishes with extension. Worked middle-oppo in batting practice. Exit velocity high of 77 mph.  At third base fielded everything cleanly, short three-quarters arm action, top throw clocked at 72 mph, mostly accurate throws. Behind the plate 67 mph throwing velocity, 2.12-2.25 pop times to second base, throws were on or near the bag. On the mound starts with a deliberate pace from the wind-up, tucks knee at balance point, strides inline, low three-quarters slot, arm works, finishes square. Fastball with early sinking action, 71-74 mph. Breaking ball 62-63 mph, change-up 67-69 mph. Faced four batters, two ground balls, two strikeouts.
