6/15/16 - 6-foot, 170-pound RHP with athletic frame, arm action is loose and very clean, works through a high3/4 arm slot with regular effort, works quickly and attacks the strike zone, showed a gain in velocity since last summer, fastball shows occasional arm-side run and sink, throws a solid curveball with tight spin and 11/5 action, retired the side in order in his one inning on the mound, competes well and knows how to pitch. Pingleton has likely not reached his ceiling with additional velocity likely to come.
60 Time: 7.39, Position Velocity:  IF-78, Exit Velocity: 84
As a position player, hits from an open stance and squares up with a mid-length stride, swing path can work uphill at times a product of occasionally collapsing backside, shows decent hands that get the barrel though the zone, line drive type hitter, middle to opposite field contact, went 1-for-3 in game play with a single to RF. Shows good hands defensively with fluid footwork, has a fairly quick release from a short ¾ arm angle, throws were accurate across the infield with little effort.
8/4/15 - 6-foot-1, 165-pound RHP works through a high-3/4 arm slot with a quick arm, arm is loose with clean arm action, regular effort in delivery, fastball sat 82-83 mph with some late sinking action, locates the fastball consistently at the bottom of the strike zone, curveball shows short 11/5 action at 66-70 mph, has a tendency to get around the 70-73 mph changeup at times with some cutting action. Pingleton’s arm is quick and is an interesting mound prospect, especially with continued development of secondary pitches. As a position player, right-handed hitter hits from an open stance and gets to square with a mid-length stride, has an arm bar in load creating some length in swing, shows some hand quickness, line drive type hitter with average bat speed, gap to gap approach, 79 mph exit velocity off the tee, ran a 7.34 60-yard dash. Shows soft hands and moves well laterally with good body control, short high-3/4 release with accurate throws, solid arm strength at 79 mph across the infield, solid defender with arm being current best tool.
