10/2/16 - Max FB: 88, FB: 83-86, CB: 70-73, CH: 75-77,
5-foot-11, 195-pound, RHP has a strong and stocky build with athleticism and a sense of confidence on the mound, uses a high leg lift and a bigger shoulder tilt to get loaded before heading home, leads with his front hip, strides in line and lands square with an athletic finish, long arm action comes through a high ¾ slot with only a little effort at the end, clean arm.  Fastball seemed heavy with some occasional run, curveball had sharp break with 11/5 shape through the zone, changeup showed sink and fade at the plate and was thrown with good arm action. Recorded 4 strikeouts without allowing a hit in his 2 innings of work. Committed to Otterbein College following the event.
6/15/16 - Max FB: 86, FB: 84-86, CB: 74-76, CH: 74
5-foot-11, 190-pound RHP had an impressive outing. Works through a high-3/4 slot with long arm action and normal effort in a somewhat deliberate delivery, fastball jumps out of hand and appears to get on hitters quickly with occasional arm-side run, breaking ball impressed with sharp 11/5 action and he really found his release point with it as the outing progressed, threw one changeup showed good sink and fade, works the corners of the plate well with all pitches, allowed one hit, hit a batter, and struck out three (one swinging on FB, two swinging on CB) in his two innings of work. His ability to throw three pitches for strikes could make an immediate impact for a college program.
10/4/14 - 5-foot-10, 170-pound prospect uses long arm action through a high-3/4 arm slot, arm is loose and works cleanly, has a deliberate delivery and stays online, fastball showed occasional cut action and sat 82-83 mph touching 84 on one occasion, showed some of the best secondary stuff of the day with a sharp 71-73 mph curveball with tight spin and 11/5 action when he stayed on top and advanced feel for his 75-76 mph changeup with good sink and fade, after walking two in his first inning he settled in and struck out the side in his second inning of work, finished his outing allowing no hits with four strikeouts, potential high-level 2017 prospect.  As a position player, right-handed hitter, hits from a balanced setup with a leg kick, level swing plane with some length, opposite field tendencies, posted a 4.94 home to first time, 78 mph exit velocity off the tee, went 1-for-3 with a single to right-center.  Defensively, sets up well behind the plate, quick transfer, short high-3/4 release, very consistent throws to the bag, 2.06-2.09 pop times, 75 mph arm strength from the crouch, solid defensive catcher.
