Starts in a tall setup at the plate. Uses a leg kick to initiate loading sequence and takes his hands to launch during his stride. Swing is short and compact. More pop than frame would suggest. Squared the ball up frequently in batting practice and showed the ability to turn on the inside pitch. A middle infielder with very quick footwork and athletic actions. Glove skills are solid. First step is very quick and he has good reactions off the bat.
