6/15/16 - 60 Time: 7.35, Pop Time: 1.96-2.07, Position Velocity:  C-76, Exit Velocity: 84
6-foot-3, 175-pound RHH has widened stance and shortened stride considerably, produces solid bat speed when lower half clears but gets cut off at times, line drive type hitter with a gap to gap approach, went 0-for-3 in game play with contact in each at bat. Has a quick transfer and release with active feet behind the plate, good athleticism and solid arm strength, mostly accurate throws to the bag. Evans continues to show solid defensive skills.
1/24/16 - Home-1st: 4.63, Pop Time: 1.96-2.03, Position Velocity:  C-80, Exit Velocity: 86
6-foot-3, 170-pound right-handed hitter had his best showing to date significantly improving all measurables. Hits from a balanced stance with a mid-length to at times long stride, creates some lift at contact and shows power especially to the pull side, generates well above average bat speed, still can get to front side early on occasion but has made significant improvement there. Gets rid of the ball efficiently behind the plate with a quick transfer, big jump in arm strength and pop times, good upside for Evans who is starting to make big strides in his game.
8/2/15 - 6-foot-3, 165-pound right-handed hitter with lanky frame, hits from a balanced stance with a long stride, ball jumps of his bat when squared up, impressed in his round with gap power, 76 mph exit velocity off the tee, ran a 7.66 60-yard dash. Defensively, showed consistent pop times from 2.08-2.11 with 70 mph velocity, throws were more accurate than previous event, has a fairly quick transfer with a short high-3/4 release.
6/29/15 - 6-foot-3, 165-pound right-handed hitter hits from a balanced stance, long stride, gets to front side early at times, shows projectable power, ball jumps off his barrel, 72 mph exit velocity, ran a 7.85 60-yard dash, went 1-for-3 in game play with a double that was smoked to left-center field. Showed improved arm strength defensively from previous event at 71 mph from behind the plate, improved pop times 2.08-2.20 with a quick release, has room to improve footwork which would result in better velocity, tended to one hop throws to second base.
7/23/14 - 5-foot-11, 145-pound prospect ran a 7.84 60-yard dash and showed 73 mph exit velocity off the tee, hits from a narrow stance with a long stride, long swing path, offensive game should see improvement with refinement in lower half and added strength.  Defensively, shows a quick glove to hand transfer, developing arm strength 66 mph from the crouch, 2.22-2.35 pop times with accurate throws on the bag, went 0-for-3 in game play lining out in one at bat.
