6/14/16 - 60 Time: 7.12, Position Velocity:  OF-80, Exit Velocity: 84
6-foot-1, 175-pound RHH showed a big improvement in 60 time. Hits from a balanced stance with a short stride, uses lower half well, keeps the barrel in the zone a long time to produce consistent line drive contact in BP, impressed in game play going 2-for-3 with a triple to LF. Showed improvement in playing through the ball more aggressively from previous event, gets rid of the ball with a big crow hop, long high-3/4 release produced slightly above average arm strength. Oelling had a solid event and has made strides in most areas of his game.
2/13/16 - 60 Time: 7.53, Position Velocity:  OF-80, Exit Velocity: 86
6-foot-2, 175-pound RHH hits from a balanced stance, utilizes a toe tap and short stride, looks to use the middle of the field, gets tied up occasionally on inner half, fairly flat path produces line drive contact, showed solid bat speed in exit velocity testing. Has a two-handed approach to the baseball, can be more aggressive in playing through at times, has a ¾ release with slightly above average arm strength, would like to see some improvement in foot speed.
Max FB: 77, FB: 74-76, CB: 62-65, CH: 65-67,
As a pitcher, with long/lanky, projectable frame, uses shorter arm action and works through a ¾ slot with some effort in drop and drive type delivery, throws the fastball for strikes with occasional arm-side run, gets under curveball at times, some curveballs displayed 10/4 action, shows feel for the changeup and throws it with good arm speed as it displays some fading action through the zone.
