Transferred from Champaign Central HS in Illinois to Ballard HS in Kentucky following his junior season.
5.16.15 - Louisville recruit, currently ranked No. 12 in Illinois’ 2016 class, No. 154 overall. Left-handed hitter has arguably the best plate approach in the state, regardless of class. Advanced knowledge of the strike zone, doesn’t chase pitches, and has advanced barrel awareness. Shows ability to backspin baseballs to all fields. In first at-bat, roped a double to right-center gap for a double on a pitch on the inner half. Later he lined a run-scoring single to left-center on a pitch on the outer half. Finished with three hits and a walk in two games.

4.4.15 - Listed at 5-foot-10, 170-pounds, but looks to be 6-foot, frame is leaning out, beginning to run better as well 4.33 to first on a groundout to short, stole four bases in two games. Advanced bat and approach, 3-hole hitter for Central, hits from balanced stance, hands start low, little hand movement, extremely relaxed in the box, short, level bat path, ability to back spin line drives, 4-for-8 in two games, three singles and a double. Looked mostly to pull throughout the day, but one single in the hole to short. Defensively ranges well side to side, made several nice plays ranging to glove hand. Shorter arm action, high ¾ slot, arm plays at 2B, quick hands on the double play in pregame, accurate with throws, not a cannon, but enough carry to make play up the middle and turn double play.
1.19.14 - 5-foot-9, 170-pound middle infielder. Offensively has one of the more advanced approaches at the plate. Hits from the left side, balanced stance, short stride, smooth loading action, tremendous balance throughout. Simple swing, head stays quiet, short path, high level hand-eye, consistent contact, excellent barrel awareness. 76 mph exit velocity. Defensively attacks the baseball on the infield, excellent angle, plays through the baseball. 6.94 runner. Arm plays at 74 mph across the diamond. Snider is one of the more advanced hitters in his class, a high contact hitter will hit for high average, high follow 2016 prospect.
7/23/13 - Snider is a significantly improved player from the previous PBR event. He’s hard-nosed and showed a high baseball IQ at the Top Prospect Games, taking the extra bases and recording six stolen bases. He always seems to be in the right spot, and can turn the double play well. Left-handed hitting 5-foot-7, 160-pound middle-infielder showed advanced defensive actions fielding the position with soft hands and athleticism. Snider creates athletic pre-pitch rhythm and sprays the ball at the plate with bat speed and balance throughout. He makes contact consistently, rarely striking out, and utilizes his hands well in his swing. Snider legged out a 4.41 home-to-first.
1/20/13 - 5-foot-5, 135-pound middle infielder. Offensively, left handed hitter, leg lift trigger, good timing and rhythm, excellent balance. Defensive actions are mechanically sound, high ¾ release point. Ran a 7.5 60.
10/28/12 - Snider is a 5-foot-5, 135-pound middle infielder. Snider is a mechanically sound infielder who showed soft hands in the infield; his footwork is fluid and he made accurate throws at 67 mph. Offensively, Snider hits from the left side, showing a very balanced setup and quiet approach. He hits with a level bat path, working mainly to the opposite field. Snider exhibited a sound, repeatable swing that should play well in the future.
3/11/12 Snider is a 5-foot-4, 133-pound left-handed hitting middle infielder who showed athletic feet and advanced actions at shortstop.  He displayed excellent rhythm and soft hands while playing through the baseball well.  Snider was clocked at 65 mph from the outfield and 62 mph from across the diamond.  Offensively, Snider has a smooth left-handed swing.  He starts in a balanced setup and takes an economical approach to the baseball.  He creates good whip through the zone as he sprayed line drives to all fields.
