Body Type: 6-foot, 165-pound arm with room for physical maturity. Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Mechanically sound while successfully utilizing lower half strength effectively. Moves well on the hill with helps him to command the zone at will. Works through a near high ¾ slot with clean arm swing and release. Fastball: Sink to both sides of the plate at 77-79 mph. 1700-1900 rpm with high 90s efficiency. Curveball: Good depth to the 11/5 breaker at 71-72 mph. Changeup: Serious movement to the arm side with fade at 72-73 mph. Generates swing and misses due to deception created by maintaining fastball slot and arm speed. Pitchability: Movement helps the velocity to play up currently. Moves it around the zone effectively with more success to the arm side.

5/31/17 A right-handed hitter that starts in a tall setup. Contact type guy that takes a slightly uphill path to the ball. Found the barrel often, showing pop to both fields. Would be aided by adding fluidity to his loading sequence. Flashed signs of middle of the order potential. Behind the plate he starts in a lower crouch. Pre sets his footwork as the ball comes in. Showed some quickness getting out of his crouch. Will need to speed up exchange skills as he matures. On the mound the right-hander has an uptempo delivery that requires some effort. Works through a high-¾ slot with developing arm speed. His 68-69 mph changeup may have been his best pitch overall as he maintains arm speed and is able to substantial sink on it. He does a nice job setting up his changeup with his 72-73 mph fastball. Also spins a breaking ball at 63-64 mph. The offering has gradual break and has an 11/5 shape.

12/11/16 The 5-foot-5, 155-pound RHP/C was up to 69 on the mound with a high arm slot. Bowling used max effort in his delivery to generate power in his pitches. He works quick and showed a good change up. His breaking ball got over for strikes with an 11/5 break. At the plate the righty starts in a tall setup while being slightly open. Uses a leg kick to initiate his movements while keeping his hands in a strong launch position. Weight tends to stay on his back leg, causing an uphill path. Would be aided by transferring weight into contact to flatten out bat path and produce more consistent ball flight. Reached a top exit velocity of 64 mph. Behind the plate he registered pop times of 2.4-2.49, while throwing with 66 mph arm strength to second base. Ran a 9.15 60-yard dash.
