10/16/17 - Verbally committed to Eastern Kentucky out of Lincoln Trail CC (IL).

8/8/15 - 6-foot-2, 170-pound RHP with projectable frame, works through a ¾ slot with short and quick arm action, regular effort in delivery, fastball shows good arm-side run and sink at 79-81 mph topping at 82, had trouble occasionally harnessing movement of fastball in strike zone but sinking action produces ground ball outs, showed good feel for 67-69 mph curveball with 11/5 action, hit a batter and walked two while allowing two hits and striking out three (two on curveballs) in his two innings of work. Beavers has shown similar velocity at each event he has attended.
8/2/15 - 6-foot-2,170-pound RHP with projectable frame, works through a 3/4 arm slot with shorter and quick arm action, regular effort in delivery, fastball has good arm-side run and sink and sat 80-81 mph touching 82 on one occasion, showed good feel for his 67-70 mph curveball with 11/5 action, 74-75 mph changeup is consistently down in the zone, likes to drop down some on 71-72 mph slider, with short/lateral break.
2/14/15 - 6-foot-2, 168-pound RHP with good pitcher’s frame that projects well, uses short arm action and works through a low-3/4 to ¾ arm slot, fastball sat 79-81 mph (up to 83 at previous event) and showed arm-side run, shows some feel for 64-66 mph curveball with 11/5 action but occasionally gets under it, also showed a 70-71 mph slider that he drops further down on than the curveball that he tended to get under on this occasion, throws a solid 72-74 mph changeup with good deception and arm speed that shows late sink and fade, has some funk in delivery that could make for an uncomfortable at bat As a position player, right-handed hitter hits from a balanced stance, short stride, tends to cut off lower half with limited finish through the baseball, short swing path, line drive type hitter, ran 7.64 60-yard dash, 84 mph exit velocity. Defensively, showed good arm strength across the infield at 80 mph (78 at previous event), playable hands, works through the ball, quick exchange with short high-3/4 release.
10/19/14 - 6-foot-1, 167-pound prospect with lanky frame, uses shot arm action through a ¾ arm slot, good rhythm in delivery, arm shows some quickness, occasionally lands open, fastball sat 79-82 mph touching 83 on one occasion, fastball shows occasional slight arm-side run, throws a 64-67 mph curveball with 11/5 action and a 68-70 mph slider with sharper/later action, effectively works both sides of the plate, allowed an infield single and struck out one in his two innings of work, consistently throws strikes.  As a position player, right-handed hitter hits from a balanced stance with a short stride, can get more involvement from lower half, has a short path to the ball, line drive type hitter who squared the ball up in the second half of his batting practice round, ran a 7.53 60-yard dash, 75 mph exit velocity off the tee, went 0-for-4 in game play.  Defensively, shows soft hands and good lateral movement fairly quick exchange with shorter high ¾ release, 78 mph arm across the infield with accurate throws, offensive game will benefit from added strength to frame.
