1/16/17 - 6-foot-2, 145-pound projectable frame. The southpaw shows some quickness to his arm. Using a short arm action from a ¾ slot. Has a slow tempo to the delivery and stays tall through a high lift. Good direction towards that plate using some effort through release. His fastball sat 77-79 on a downhill plane with some late cutting action. Showed a changeup that has good arm side run at 65-66 mph. He does need to improve arm speed on the pitch. Also, display a 63-64 mph curveball with 2/7 tilt. The lefty swinger starts in wider setup before his knee pinch load and short stride. Hands maintain rhythm as they move to launch. Gets solid barrel whip into contact. Showed impressive pop to his pull side. In the outfield he uses calm footwork to approach the baseball. Plays through it well and carries momentum into his throws. Throws were consistently on target. Would like to see him get to the ball quicker.
