2017 Preseason All-State: Third Team
10/29/16 A 6-foot, 175-pound catcher with a lean, athletic frame. Outstanding defender with soft hands, fluid footwork, quick and clean exchange. Short arm action into high-3/4 release with accuracy on throws and a pop time of 1.93 seconds and a positional velocity of 76 mph. Right-handed hitter with an athletic setup, smooth load, short stride, and solid balance. Gap to gap type hitter with fluid rhythm, level path and bat speed that produced an 86 mph exit velocity. Also posted a 7.19 60-yard dash.
11/7/15 A 6-foot, 170-pound catcher with a lean, athletic frame. Outstanding defender with soft hands, fluid footwork, quick and clean exchange. Short arm action into high-3/4 release with accuracy on throws and a pop time of 1.97 seconds and a positional velocity of 75 mph. Right-handed hitter with an athletic setup, smooth load, short stride, and solid balance. Gap to gap type hitter with fluid rhythm, level path and bat speed that produced an 80 mph exit velocity. Also posted a 7.2 60 yard dash.
6/29/15 A 6-foot, 170-pound catcher and outfielder with a lean, athletic frame. Outstanding defender with soft hands, fluid footwork, and arm strength in the outfield. As a catcher showed solid receiving skills with a clean, quick exchange and excellent footwork that resulted in a pop time of 2.00 seconds and a positional velocity of 73 mph. Right-handed hitter with a balanced setup, slight wrap in the load, short stride, and solid balance. Showed an uphill bat path with solid bat speed, and a line-drive, gap to gap approach that resulted in an 84 mph exit velocity.
