10/18/15 A 5-foot-11, 175-pound right-handed pitcher and outfielder with an average, athletic frame. Long arm action into high-3/4 release with average arm speed, regular effort and solid balance. Some rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction, lands square and finishes upright. Fastball sat 78-80 mph and showed solid control. Breaking ball showed 12/6 shape with gradual break and near fastball arm speed at 67-68 mph. Also showed a change up with near fastball arm speed at 71-72 mph and command. Solid defender with average hands, clean exchange into loose arm action with high-3/4 release with accuracy and carry on throws that produced a positional velocity of 86 mph. Right-handed hitter that hits from a balanced setup with no load, short stride, solid lower half and balance. Line-drive type hitter with fluid rhythm, short path and bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 84 mph. Also posted a 4.7 home to 1st time.
6/29/15 A 5-foot-11, 175-pound right-handed pitcher and outfielder with an average, athletic, lean frame. Right-handed pitcher with a long, loose arm action, solid balance point, regular effort with some rhythm in delivery, level shoulders, in-line direction, lands square and throws out of a high-3/4 arm slot. Fastball sat 80-81 mph with solid control. Breaking ball showed 10/4 shape with gradual break at 65-67 mph. Quality defender with soft hands, fluid footwork, clean exchange, plays through balls well and a loose arm into a high-3/4 release with accuracy and arm strength that resulted in an 81 mph positional velocity. Right-handed hitter with balanced setup, short stride, in and out bat path, and opposite field type approach that produced a 78 mph exit velocity.
