9-23-18

6-foot-1, 150-pound, long, lean athletic frame, with room for added weight and mass. A left-handed hitting middle infielder, showed very well on both sides of the field. At the plate, feet are even at shoulder width and hands are relaxed at the shoulders with the bat starting in more of a flat position. The lower half is under control, controlled knee to knee leg kick for timing, steps in slightly with lead foot. The swing is level, flat through the zone, looking to spray the baseball to all fields. The hands work with ease and barrel has life out front. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 82 mph and ran a 7.12 sixty, long strider with an easy kick. Defensively, the hands, actions are smooth and soft, feet continue to move throughout. The arm action is super clean form a ¾ to a lower ¾ slot, clocked at 79 mph. The arm has enough strength to stick on the left side of infield. A sleeper, stay on him, arm is good enough to work off the mound as well.

Sixty-Yard Dash: 7.12

Exit Velocity: 82 MPH

Arm Velocity: 79 MPH

8-8-18

6-foot-1, 150-pound left-handed hitting infielder, just coming off a bone break. Ran a 4.11 down the line in an easy fashion. The movements are athletic and smooth. The glove is solid in the infield, continuing to work on the foot work to and through the ball is imperative. Threw 78 mph across the diamond in an easy effort. Can handle the pivot and make the slow roller play.  Versatility in the infield is present. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 77 mph. The setup is wide in base, toe tap as the ball approaches. The path is flat to the ball, uses a 1-handed finish after contact with the ball. Would like to see him in a month or so as he is just returning, good skill set and player.

Tee Exit Velocity- 77 mph

6-20-18

6-foot-1, 150-pound, a long and lengthy athlete, shoulders are rounded, has room to fill out and put weight on. A left-handed hitting middle infielder, stance is even and balanced, looks to drive the baseball to all fields, hands cast a bit early, could keep the barrel in the zone a little longer. The swing and hands work, have fluidity to them, tee exit velocity was clocked at 79 mph and ran a 7.36 sixty yard dash. The approach is more line drive, path is level through contact. Defensively, arm action is ¾ , with easy carry and life to throws, it’s long and clean on the backside. The baseball comes out of his hand with ease, clocked at 77 mph with carry to it. The hands are soft and works low to the ground, gains ground with footwork to target. Showed to have feel around both sides of the bag in starting the double play. With the current frame, being able to put weight on, long and loose arm action, might be worth it to get off the mound at some point. Could be a big surprise as a pitcher down the road. Strength is must for his development.

7-18-17

6-foot-1, 150-pound, long lengthy athletic frame, has plenty of room to fill out, the back is wide. A left-handed hitting middle infielder, top tool are his legs, runs above average, and his overall athleticism. At the plate, the hands are loose, set just below the shoulders, feet are slightly closed off. For timing uses a small controlled leg kick, hands get separated from the body. The swing works freely through the zone, with the approach being from gap to gap. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 77 mph, took a solid round of batting practice. Defensively, the hands are soft, fields the baseball out front and works from the ground up. The arm works out of a natural ¾ slot, clocked at 72 mph, has more strength in it. Showed to move very well to both sides, performed the backhand play with ease. Once he adds strength look for the game to take off, actions and movements are smooth and work freely. Good follow in the 2019 class.

Home-First: 4.53

Exit Velocity: 77 MPH

Arm Velocity: 72 MPH
