Big and physical infielder who can jump on the mound if need be. The glove is solid and he moves well as range is not an issue dependent on the level of play. He ran a 7.10 with effort. The arm is outstanding, threw 86 mph across the infield and I've seen him touch better than that. The footwork is proper and he shows confidence in his own ability. The bat has power to it, the hands are loose and he shows pull power. Tee exit velocity of 92 mph. The bat path could be flattened a bit which would aid plate coverage. I really like his tools and see no reason why he can't help someone at the Division 1 level.
6/23/15
Right-handed hitting 3rd baseman, who has shown us a couple times how good of a player he is becoming. Really throws, 83 across the diamond from a tick higher than ¾ slot. The glove is solid and he moves well enough to handle the short game. The bat is a bit long with a long and thick right now as he needs to free up his hands and let them work better. The tools are there, just needs a few minor tweaks. Tee exit velocity of 90, ran a 4.60 to first in batting practice. Pitched as well at the event, showing a clean arm and feel for the delivery. Touched 85 and spun a quality breaking ball at 71. Could potentially be a two-way guy at the next level.
12/6/14
6-foot-2, 180-pounds with very long and athletic actions. Right-handed hitting corner infielder who showed an 84 mph arm across the diamond and a good approach to the ball. His feet play at third and his glove isn't flashy but he fielded everything cleanly. Ran a 5.02 with long strides. At the plate, he shows good bat speed out of a wide base set up. A high back elbow leads to a bit of a long swing but with some tweaking the bat could flatten out and be formidable. Had an tee exit velocity of 89 mph. Lots of positives for him at this event and he should be on many coaches radar.
