Had a very impressive workout at Harvard, as he hammered the baseball all over the yard. The bat is advanced, tee exit velocity of 85 mph. Hits out of a spread out set up, hands set back and high. The bottom half is under control, and he does not come out of position, allowing the barrel to work directly to the ball. The path is flat, with good coverage of the strike zone. In the outfield, threw 72 mph and threw 70 mph at first base. In my opinion, he is a first base only, he does not run well enough to play in the outfield. However, as they say, you hit, we find you a spot. This guy can hit. Shows a solid skill set at first, handles the bag and the glove is playable. If you like hitters, you like this guy.
