6-foot, 185-pound left-handed hitting catcher. Ran a 7.31 sixty on the laser at the event, The receiving behind the dish is solid, soft with the glove and shows enough arm strength. The transfer is clean, needs to stay under control throughout the transfer. Threw 80 mph down to second base, arm works clean. The pop time is 2.03. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 93 mph. The setup is even, front foot foot slightly open to start. Uses a knee to knee approach to get closed down as the ball approaches. The path is clean, small amount of lift in the path. PROCASE

6-foot, 190-pound left-handed hitting catcher.  Threw 80 mph down to second base on the transfer. Pop time of 2.06 and it can be quicken with better footwork, needs to be more aggressive with his feet. The arm strength and ability to receive are present. Needs to focus on the receiving portion of his game, as its important. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 89 mph. Sets up with his feet even, uses a small pick up and put down of the front foot as the ball approaches. The swing plane needs to be flattened as there is too much lift in the path. Minimizing the bat wrap will aid his contact point as well.

2017 FUTURE GAMES
5-foot-11, 185-pound left-handed hitting catcher. Solid tools to catch and throw. Receiving is solid, needs to get setup and stay setup, moves around a bit too much for the pitchers liking. The throwing is clean, threw 78 mph from behind the dish. The pop time is 2.08 and accurate. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 90 mph. Sets up with a wide base, high back elbow and a slight bat wrap. The bottom half is under control, and the swing path is clean. Stays on the ball at contact and spread the field with the barrel. Ran a 7.57 sixty at the event. Solid prospect and best days are in front of him.

6.28.2017

5-foot-10, 185 pound left-handed hitting catcher. Threw 76 mph from behind the dish and had a pop time of 1.9 . The footwork needs to continue to improve as does the transfer, gets long with his arm at times. The receiving is solid and he is going to work hard to improve, as he has the tools. Securing the catch will be integral to his game. Ran a 4.8 down the line on his dig to first base. Threw 81 mph across the diamond from third. The glove is solid, showed athleticsm and can make all the throws from there. Tee exit velocity of 87 mph in the left-handed swing. Hits with his feet even, big leg lift as the ball approaches. The path is out and around to contact, as he is going to have to shorten the path at the next level. The hands are good, so that should be easy to clean up.

Catching Velocity- 76 mph
INF Velocity- 81 mph

Athletic left-handed hitting catcher. The glove and receiving is solid at his age. The movements are quick and athletic. The transfer is clean and the arm works appropriately. Good looking catch and throw skills. The bat has a good life to it, very advanced path and hand speed at his age. Solid looking prospect, older brother plays at Elon.
