PROCASE

6-foot-2, 205-pound right-handed pitcher.  Strike thrower who pitches out of a plus ¾ slot. The fastball touched 86 mph with arm side run. The command is above average when he stays in his delivery. The breaking pitch is a quality pitch, sitting at 72 mph with plus shape. The changeup has improved immensely, sits at 78-79 mph. The delivery is online and he does a good job of tracking the front shoulder to foot strike. The lift is quick and athletic. The glove is tucked at foot strike and he accelerates his arm on his secondary pitches.

2017 FUTURE GAMES
6-foot-1, 195-pound right-hander who pitched 3 innings at the Futures. The outing was solid, although I have seen him throw better. The fastball is true, sat 84-85 mph. The spin pitch is a breaking ball, sat 68-71 mph with good depth to the pitch.  The changeup is work in progress but the fade and depth to it are appropriate. Pitches out of a plus 3/4 arm slot, the direction to the plate is appropriate with his feet. Does a good job of tracking the front shoulder and limits the pull of the glove side. At times, comes out of his delivery but for the most part stays with his arm. All 3 spins are correct and he throws strikes. Excellent arm from New England

6.27.2017
6-foot-1, 195- pound right-handed pitcher who continues to progress nicely. The fastball was up to 87, with sink and boar. Throws strikes on both sides of the plate, working better glove side as arm side command needs to improve. The breaking ball has good spin and depth to it, sitting at 74 mph. The changeup is progressing nicely, his third pitch, sat at 79 mph. The pitch is still too hard but the action on the pitch is appropriate. The delivery is online and athletic. The leg lift is waist high and his direction to the plate is improved. The front shoulder is tracked better and the arm works well out of a slightly higher than ¾ slot.  Excellent looking prospect.
3/8/2017

6-foot-1, 185-pound right-hander from the Northeast Baseball program. The delivery is online and tracking of the shoulders is improving. Pitches out of a slightly higher than ¾ arm slot. Has a small pull of glove side as he makes his way into foot strike, causing a minimal slot raise. The frame projects well and the arm works freely. The fastball touched 83 mph and true. The spin pitch is a breaking ball, sitting at 70 mph. The changeup is improving, sits at 78 mph. Good follow on the mound.

8/20/16

Excellent looking young arm who impressed in his outing. The body is live and the arm works well out of a ¾ slot. The fastball was 83-86 mph and at times cut, correcting the spin will aid another climb in velocity. The breaking ball was a good pitch, sitting 68-69 mph with minimal depth and tilt to it. Showed the makings of a changeup at 75-77 mph, more skin needs to added to the ball. The delivery is athletic and the extension out front is good for his age. There is minor glove pull prior to foot strike but this guy should be a monster in a couple years. Big time follow for me.

3/9/16

Good looking right-hander who pounded the strike zone in his session. Showed all three pitches for strikes and stayed with his arm. The delivery is sound, the arm is clean out front, and his posture throughout the action is good. The tracking of the shoulders to foot strike is done very well. The fastball touched 81 mph and had good arm-side action to it. The breaking ball needs to be tightened, but was still 70 mph. The front side of his body tends to come off target on the breaking pitch. The shape of the breaking ball is correct, so with maturation and innings, it should be a plus pitch. The changeup needs a rotational fix and sat at 73 mph. High level 2019 prospect based off what I saw.
