6-foot-6, 190-pound right-handed pitcher in his first appearance at the Futures. Showed extremely well. Nick has worked really hard at improving his delivery and getting his arm slot into the correct spot. The delivery is now athletic, under control and his extension continues to improve. The fastball was 83-85 and showed downhill plane to it. The command of the fastball in his 3 innings was excellent. The spin pitch is a slurve and sat 73-75 mph, getting a bunch of swings and misses. I still think he can shorten it down into a true slider and then he is in business. The changeup is improving as he got some outs with it in the game, sitting at 76 mph. Big prospect for me.

6-foot-6 right-hander who has improved a great deal in the last 6 months. The delivery is athletic for being such a big kid. The slot is ¾ coming down a tick since we saw him last in the winter. The fastball touched 84 mph and it has downward plane to it. The slurve was up to 74 mph and he showed the ability to throw it competitively. Expect a velocity jump in the next year, making him one of the better arms in New England. The changeup is a work in progress as it still cuts and it is a bit too hard. Not too many red flags with this guy as he plays wide receiver in football and can handle the rock in the hoop court. He's a baseball guy though, looking forward to the progression.

I really like this guy, tall RHP, seems athletic, some arm quickness, arm works, low ¾ slot, some effort. Looks like he was a little more over the top in previous videos you had on him, the lower slot might be working for him. Mostly 82-83 with a handful of 84-85’s in the first inning, some arm side run, kind of a sinker when at the bottom of the zone. Threw his breaking ball a lot, slurvy 72-74, controllable action, threw it for strikes, even when it rolled arm-side it was effective as RHH couldn’t pull the trigger and took it for a strike, but also threw his share of ones with good left-turn shape in the zone. Showed a 74 change-up. Gave up a couple runs over three innings but threw a lot of strikes and showed good composure.
Tall and athletic right-hander who I have seen now for over a year. The delivery is still a work in progress, as his shoulder tilt at release is a focal point for him currently. The delivery itself, is simple and on line. The leverage of his body, is a no brainer, and should attract a ton of coaches. The fastball was 82 mph and has life and downhill plane to it. The spin pitch is a short slurve, touched 74 mph. The changeup is a work in progress, but at times shows the right spin and fade. Big time follow for me, based on ability. If he works at it, could be a serious guy down the line.
Long and lanky right-handed pitcher, at 6-foot-5, 190-pounds he has a chance to be very advanced as he progresses. The fastball has bore and downward plane to it, 82-83. The breaking ball is 11/7 at 71-71, with good depth to it. He didn't show a changeup in the game, as it is a work in progress, he does possess big hands which should help his progression with that pitch. The delivery is athletic and repeatable. Would like to see him sink up his top half and bottom, as the front elbow pulls him off his alignment prior to his stride foot getting down. Works at pitching and plays three sports, I like his future.
6-foot-5, 195-pound tall, projectable frame. On the mound the right-hander has a slow tempo, compact delivery with a short stride. Showed good feel of his pitches especially for his age. From a short, high-¾ slot his fastball was solid for his age at 76-78 mph with some sink. His breaking ball had tight spin and late 11/5 tilt at 69-70 mph. He threw his changeup near fastball speed at 71-74 mph with occasional sink.
Athletic right-hander with a ton of potential. Pitches from a slightly higher than 3/4 slot and has good downward plane to his fastball. Breaking ball is slurvy and has good tilt and shape to it. The changeup is a work in progress but he is making strides with the rotation and fade to the pitch. Delivery is simple and repeatable. Could be a high level guy as he progresses.
