PBR Mid-Atlantic ProCase 2/10/18

Quick twitch all over the place is Rosiers calling card and it is his top tier speed that separates himself from the pack with 60-yard dash times reportedly now to be in the 6.5 range. Rosier had one of the mor unorthodox set ups at the plate with a lot of movement and a preload with his hands more forward, but it did not take away from his ability to consistently get barrel on the baseball and made plus contact during his BP. He is a pro at his craft at the plate, and his BP was impressive with the explosive bat speed he could generate.

Rosier has evolved into one of the most exciting prospects in the Maryland 2018 class. Shows off high end speed in the outfield and plays faster in game. Shows smooth stroke at the plate with pull side power potential. Exciting player to watch.

10.18.15 - Athletic frame at 5-foot-10, 175-pounds. Ran a 6.83 60-yard dash. Hits from an athletic open setup at the plate. Short load and stride to balance. Level swing path with fast bat speed. Pull type hitter with some power potential. Gets lower half involved. Has rhythm and nice balance throughout swing. Exit velocity of 90 mph. Has active feet in outfield. Nice first step with sound actions. Long arm action throwing from a high ¾ arm slot.  Throws slightly uphill. Outfield velocity of 77 mph.

2/8/20: Rosier has turned into a real table setter for the Indians at the start of this spring season. The 5-foot-11 outfielder runs efficient routes to fly balls and cuts down gappers while getting them in quickly to the infield with an arm the plays in center. At the plate Rosier can be stiff in the hips at times, but when he drives the backside he can put some juice on balls from right center to left. He showcased the ability to hit to all fields with authority driving hard liners and ground balls the other way and also hitting a two-run homer over the scoreboard in right center to cap off an impressive weekend while facing some tough arms.
