Extremely athletic, strong body type and 5’6’’, 135 pound frame. Hits from a balanced, square stance at the plate with bat head resting just above back shoulder. Rock back load with a slight toe tap. Explosive lower half, quick hands, and fast bat speed through the zone. Short, compact, level swing and attacks the ball with intent. Stays behind the ball well with good balance and uses the whole field. Line drive type hitter with some pop. Recorded an exit velocity of 80 mph. Works to get behind the ball in the outfield with momentum coming towards the plate on throw. Throws with shorter arm action from a high three-quarter slot at 78 mph. Glides to the ball effortlessly in the outfield and tracks the ball very well. Ran an event best 6.69 60-yard time.
MD Preseason All State
Compact athletic makeup at 5-foot-6, 135-pounds. Hits from the right side in a slight crouch with a toe tap to stride landing on line with hands back and a slight wrap. Slight uphill path, quick through the zone, and showed gap to gap potential. Exit velocity was 85 mph. Defensively feet were light and active getting behind the ball and working through it. Clean exchange and a quick arm action with above average arm speed and positional velocity was 81 mph throwing from a high three-quarter arm slot. Ran well with a 4.19 Home-1st time.
Freshmen Free Showcase
Ran a 4.12 home to first.Hits from a taller, slightly open setup. Slight double tap load. Short, quick bat path direct with some extension. Proper lower half and should get get better with ore involvement and as he gets stronger. Exit velocity of 77 mph. Sound actions in the outfield. Quick, confident first step. Shorter, quick arm action, could get ball out faster in release to pair better with his developing arm that should continue to increase in velocity. Outfield velocity of 76.
Compact frame at 5-foot-4, 125-pounds. First step quickness with a 6.95 60-yard dash. Hits from a slightly open athletic set up. Short load with leg kick to hitting position. Quick hands and has nice bat speed at young age. Shorter swing path with some rhythm and balance. Active feet in the outfield. Clean hands and exchange throwing with a short arm action from a ¾ arm slot. Throws are accurate and have some carry on them at 73 mph. Ran a 4.15 home to first.
