8.19.16 2017 catcher has serious juice in his bat and the ball routinely had good carry when he elevated it. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound right-handed hitter went 4-11 on the weekend, with three of his hits being doubles that were driven to the outfield fence.
6.21/16 - Athletic frame at 6-foot-1, 185-pounds. Projectable catching prosepct with some pop and untapped potential. Hits from an athletic, slightly open set up. Quick knee turns with short lift to hitting position. Slightly opens up at footstrike. Level swing path with a barrel that stays in zone. Shows pull side pop and exit velo of 87 mph. Quiet receiver, sticks ball well and quiet movement. Quick exchange throwing from behind with good footwork and short arm action. Throws were accurate and had had some carry with throws in the 1.97-2.01 range.

2.21.16 - Athletic frame with some length at 6-foot-1, 180-pounds. Ran a 7.64 60-yard dash. Hits from an athletic set up with good base. Smooth load and leg kick to hitting position. Level bat path with quick hands and some extension. Gap-to-gap type hitter. Exit velocity of 84 mph. Athletic, low setup behind the plate. Soft hands receiving. Quick exchange and feet on throws to second. Nice hip control and quick actions behind plate. Short arm action throwing from almost over-the-top arm slot. Throws had some carry on them at 74 mph and pop time got as low as 1.96.
9/13/15 6-foot-1, 170-pound right-handed hitter. Hit from a square stance, took a short stride, and swing with intent. Typically stayed in the middle of the diamond from gap-to-gap in game action. Physical frame helped generate an 82-mph exit velocity despite some length in his swing. Recorded workout pop times of 2.19-2.22 (with a 2.19 in-game pop) and arm strength of 71-mph from the crouch. Kept footwork short with a quick transfer.
