Short bat path with fast bat speed.  Fluid footwork with quick actions at third base.  Nice hands with a clean exchange that could be a little quicker. Throws had life on them across the diamond at 85 mph.  Loose arm action from a high ¾ arm angle.  Ran a 4.65 home-to-first with an exit velocity of 91 mph.

2.21.15 - John Palin is a 5-foot-11 205-pound 3B.  He has a longer arm action and throws from a high ¾ arm angle.  He shows fluid footwork and a clean exchange with some carry on his throws at 82 mph across the infield.  He hits from an athletic setup and has good rhythm in his swing.  He is a gap-to-gap type hitter with fast bat speed and has power potential.  His exit velocity was 88 mph and he ran a 7.44 60 yard dash.  Newly arrived to the state of Maryland, Palin is an interesting prospect in the 2016 class.  He shows potential to be a strong offensive prospect and should be on the initial 2016 player rankings for the state of Maryland.
