2/23/13 Tone Jacobs is primed and ready for a big junior year. Jacobs is a 6-foot-1, 180-pound righty that threw extremely well at the Pre-Season All-State Showcase.  He sat primarily 84-87mph and touched 88mph.  His fastball was down in the zone and moved well. Jacobs continues to show that he is refining his mechanics and making improvements. Expect Jacobs to have a big season this year and help Bay City John Glenn make another run deep into the tournament.

7/23/12 Jacobs is a raw talent with arm strength. He has been up to 89 mph with his fastball.  He creates some deception in his delivery and the ball seems to jump.  His breaking ball has the makings to be a good pitch in the future.  His delivery is slow in nature with good balance.  As he matures and learns to finish his pitches, his stuff should become a tick better.
