7/12/17
A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced setup. Hands stay quiet during his short stride forward. Path is level with developing bat speed. Strength is his top tool at the plate. Ball comes off his bat well when he stays through contact. Has the ability to find the gap and produce backspin, especially to the middle of the field. Middle of the lineup type guy.  Defensively, he plays through the ball well. Glove skills are still developing. Fields the ball out front while carrying momentum towards the target. Could speed up his transfer by eliminating the double tap of his glove. Releases from a 3/4 arm slot with average arm speed. On the mound, the right-handed pitcher starts from a tall setup. Delivery is fluid at an average pace. Hips rotate quickly towards home. Strike foot lands very open as he finishes towards first base. Throws from a ¾ arm slot. Fastball shows heavy cut movement. Offers a curveball that comes in on a 11-5 plane. Pitch shows gradual break. Rounds out his repertoire with a changeup. Offering is thrown with similar arm speed.

7/5/17
A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced setup. Hands stay simple during his short stride. A strong kid that takes a level path to the baseball. Bat speed is an average tool at this stage. Ball comes off his bat well when the barrel flows to the middle of the field. Has the natural tools to grow into a middle of the lineup type guy. On the bump the righty as a slower paced tempo to a delivery that requires some effort. Creates energy with his lower half through an efficient hip load. Lands in line to home plate at foot strike. Arm actions is loose with above average arm speed. Arm moves through a near ¾ slot. Fastball looked heavy when in the zone with some cut to it. When he was out of the zone it was usually missing glove side. His go to secondary offering was his slider. The pitch moves laterally across the plate with some sharpness to it. Showed a breaking ball and changeup as well. Breaking ball showed gradual break while working on an 11/5 plane. Pitch has potential to have some swing and miss to it. Changeup is playable and he does a nice job of maintaining fastball arm speed. Cruised through his outing with multiple strikes outs, and weak contact.
