Ashmus has a 6-foot-1, 195-pound build with broad shoulders. He is upright and uses a simple leg kick. He stays through the zone well with his swing and shows the ability to hit the ball to all fields while staying balanced. His exit velocity was clocked as high as 91 mph and he had a 60-yard dash time of 7.56. He fields the ball close to his body at first base and uses good footwork to create momentum towards second base on his throws. On the mound, Ashmus throws from an over-the-top arm slot with a short, quick arm action. His fastball sat 77-79 mph while his curveball had 12/6 break to it and was 68-70 mph. His straight changeup played well off his fastball and sat 69-71 mph.

6-foot-1, 180-pound prospect.¾ arm action getting downhill well with the slope of the mound. Fastball was 72-74 mph. Curveball has gradual break at 64-66 mph. Changeup has arm side sink at 62-65 mph. Showed soft hands at first base with good footwork around the bag. Threw 65 mph across the infield. Ran a 8.07 60-yard dash. Gets good separation at the plate with plus strength in his bat to the pull side. Bat speed registered at 76 mph.

6-foot-1, 190 pound prospect. Fields the ball in front of his body. Moves well off the bag while making throws around the diamond. Winds up on throws to third base. Simple, fluid swing with good middle to away opposite field approach. Finds a way to put barrel on a lot of balls. On the mound, fastball worked at 77-78 MPH and curveball at 67-68 MPH. Strike thrower with simple delivery.
