6.18.13 Rogers is a bigger bodied 6-foot-1, 205-pound third baseman.  Shows good agility for a bigger player.  Soft hands with long loose arm action.  78mph across the diamond.  At the plate shows balanced stance.  Willing to use whole field.  Good bat path.  Lots of line drives. Needs to continue to improve bat speed. On the mound has ¾ slot.  Up to 80mph with fastball.  Breaking ball was softer at 62mph. 

2.23.13 Rogers is a big strong 6-foot-2, 202-pound third baseman. He demonstrates good hands at third base. They are soft and he has good reactions.  He threw the ball well with accuracy across the diamond 80+mph.  Needs to improve his speed but at the corners it won't make as much of a difference. At the plate he was balanced and under control.  Takes a nice swing. Hands work well. Short stride and smooth load.
