A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced setup. Uses a fluid loading sequence that creates energy. Path is level with impressive strength through contact. Barrel gets on plane early and the ball jumps off his bat. Consistently produced laced line drives in batting practice. Used the entire field. Very talented pure hitter. Made hard contact in every at bat in game, highlighted by a line drive to the wall for a triple. Behind the plate he starts in a low crouch. Gets out of his crouch well using quick footwork. Exchange skills are developing. Arm action is clean and throws were consistently on the bag. On the mound the right handed arm has an average tempo while using an small leg lift with easy effort. Uses his balance point on his lift to sink into his back leg and create momentum toward the plate. Ball comes out of a high ¾ arm slot with a short arm action. Fastball ranged 70-75 mph. Spins a near 12/6 curve with gradual break at 59-64 mph. Change up is an effective pitch at 66-67 mph with a downward action. Did a nice job filling up the strike zone and inducing weak contact.
