Malcom is committed to Vanderbilt and has a projectable 6-foot-4, 200-pound frame. He stands tall with a wide base and uses a leg kick with his load. He shows good rhythm with plus bat speed and plus raw power. His exit velocity was 93 mph and he ran a 7.00 60-yard dash. On the infield, he shows smooth actions and sets his feet well when turning the double play. His velocity across the diamond was 80 mph. On the mound, he throws from a high-3/4 with a long, loose arm action. His fastball had downhill action while sitting 81-83 mph and showing occasional arm side run. His curveball had 2/8 break and showed good depth at 70-72 mph. His changeup sat 76-77 mph.

6-foot-3, 200-pound two-way prospect. Impressive 2018 two way prospect. Has extremely quick hands and big time hitting power. Hits from a wide stance, with a high leg kick and the ball jumping off his bat. 94 mph exit velocity. A good athlete that ran a 7.13 60 yard dash. Possess good feet and soft hands in the field. On the hill uses a 2 pitch mix. Throwing from a over the top angle, fastball powered down in the zone 80-82 mph and a sweeping curve 66-68 mph. High follow.

6/23/15
6-foot-2, 209-pound athletic prospect. Wide stance, hands extremely quick to the baseball. Strong and explosive swing with power to all fields. Recorded bat exit velocity of 93 mph. Soft hands at first base with good composure around the bag. On the mound, good rhythm through delivery but lacks aggressive and balanced finish. High front side with downhill action. Fastball sat 82-85 and curveball registered at 69-70 mph with 10/4 shape. Finding consistency with the release point to improve control on the mound will put him in the mix with top 2-way players in the 2018 class.
