2.23.13 Smith was the lone representative for the Class of 2015 at the Pre-Season All-State Showcase. Smith, a Kentucky commit already, is bigger in person than his 6-foot-4, 210-pound size. Smith’s arm works well, coupled with his frame, he shows an above average fastball for his age. Smith’s fastball, which ranged 83-86 mph, was up in the zone quite a bit but when it was down it had a lot of life. His delivery is smooth and inline. His breaking ball worked well at 67-69 mph.
