Hitting: Has an open stance and simple approach at the plate. Takes hands straight to the ball making hard contact. Consistent line drives at the plate. Hit a few to the opposite field. During game play smoked a double over the centerfielder's head.
5-foot-10, 165 pound compact frame prospect is a gamer. Shows good baseball instincts in the field. A quick first step up the middle allows him to range towards balls throwing a swift release. At the plate makes hard contact. A line drive hitter who engages his core well. Hit a ground rule double during game play to LF. On the mound has a fast arm pounding the strike zone. Fastball sat 76-78 mph with a sweeping 64-65 mph curve.
5-foot-10, 165 pound two way prospect. Has a tall stance at the plate keeping his hands at his back shoulder using a toe tap to load. Swing is level through the zone making solid contact to the pull side. 85 MPH exit velocity. Calmly approaches the ball on the infield, bringing the ball up towards his waist with two hands. Takes a crow hop before throwing from a high 3/4 arm slot. Threw 82 MPH across the infield. On the mound starts with his hands at his waist moving them up slightly as he raises his plan leg. Shows good balance throwing out of a high 3/4 arm slot. Sat 77-80 MPH on his fastball, 64-67 MPH on his curveball and showed a changeup at 69 MPH.
5-foot-8, 160 pound prospect has a tall stance with the shoulder on his bat. Takes a toe tap load while swinging aggressively. Uses a top hand release at the plate, while working the pull side. In the field moves calmly to the ball sets his feet and fields the ball. Takes a step and releases the ball. On the mound repeats his delivery each time throwing the ball from a tall position landing towards the first base line. Fastball sat 70-73 mph at a downhill angle. Curve was 52-55 mph with a gradual break and a sinking change up 58-62 mph.
