Korbin Griffin: LHP/OF, (2021) Gull Lake, MI. Auburn Commit, 6-foot-3, 205-pound. On the mound, threw his fastball 88-90 mph with a max of 91 mph. Curveball (74-76 mph), changeup (80-82 mph).

Position: LHP/OF
Body: 6-foot-3, 205-pound .
FB: T91. 88-90 mph. (Max spin 1936; Avg 1789).
CB: 74-76 mph.
CH: 80-82 mph.
Hitting: Tall athletic prospect sets up on the left side. Shows fast hands and some pop in the bat. Drove balls to both power alleys. Relaxed approach at the plate, ball jumps off his bat.
Pitching: On the mound has a presence working to his balance working to a high leg lift with a polished look. Ball is easy out the hand working downhill filling up the zone with strikes. Fastball was 81-84 mph mixing in a 12/6 curve 70-73 mph and a deceptive change up 74-75 mph.
Uncommitted, currently ranked No. 16 in Michican’s 2021 class. Physical specimen, 6-foot-3, 195-pounds, strong, athletic build with room for continued development. High-level projection in the frame. Left-handed hitter, open setup, inconsistent path. Didn’t do much in the game, but has the look of a high-level national prospect.
Fielding: In the field moves to the ball creating an angle, fields off his front leg and throws with a long loose arm action 89 mph.
Swing: Sets up at the plate with his knees bent and hands elevated. Shows fast hands at the plate staying inside the baseball. Turned on the ball often at the plate. 91 MPH exit velocity.
Mechanics: Repeats his motion keeping his hands waist high throwing with a rather easy arm action.
Fastball: Was easy out his hand while commanding the zone showing arm side action 82-83 mph.
Curve: 66-68 mph curve showed a hard late break down in the zone. Touch pitch to barrel.
Change up: 71-73 mph sinking change up that was thrown for a strike.
6-foot-3, 185 pound long legs natural left hand prospect. Has a clean motion moving to his balance point letter high. Arm moves fast as he throws from a high 3/4 arm angle. Fastball sat 75-80 with arm side run. Sweeping curve ball with depth 55-62 mph. Deceptive change up thrown with the same am speed as the fastball. 63-65 mph. In the OF projects as a corner guy, uses a foot shuffle while approaching the ball takes a stride and throws with carry.
6-foot-3, 180 pound long, lanky projectable LHP steps right, with an easy pivot throwing from a high ¾ arm angle. Fastball sat 74- 77 mph. Ball comes out the arm live. Sharp breaking curve 57-60 mph he works low in the zone from a 10/4 angle. Works the strike zone well, has good command on both pitches. At the plate sets up with a balanced crouched stance. Has a small hand load and swings uphill making solid contact. Works the pull side and up the middle. In the OF takes a calm approach fielding the ball off his right leg and throws from a high 3/4 arm angle.
