Slight inward turn with small leg kick to his delivery .Fastball sat at 81-82 mph with some arm side sink. Breaking ball showed 11/5 action at 72-73 mph while changeup was thrown near fastball arm speed at 75-77 mph.

Schaefer is a big RHP at 6-foot-3, 195-pounds. Arm works well. Velocity should come soon. 78-83mph. Shorter arm action with some quickness. High ¾ slot. Strong legs with wide shoulders and good projectability. Outing was solid. Nothing flashy but competed well.
Schaefer seems to be following in his brother, Cole, footsteps on the mound. The younger Schaefer has good upside. He had good life in the zone with his fastball and sat 79-82mph with armside run. He uses his big 6-foot-3 frame to generate good downward tilt from a high 3/4 slot. His breaking ball was a 11-5 breaker down int eh zone. His change is really solid for his age. He threw it for strikes and kept his hands speed up. It is only a matter of time for him to make a big jump.
