8/9/13 Big strong bodied corner player. Best suited for first base long term but can certainly play third some as well.  Took good swings at the plate. Drove the ball and had good extension in his swing. Uses his hands well and stay simple.  Seems to  have a good motor and drive.

3/2/13 Swanson is a big bodies 1B/RHP at 6-foot, 220-pounds.  The junior has a long arm action from a 3/4 slot. Softer hands.  Balanced setup.  Big aggressive swing.  Fast bat.  Works uphill.  Looks to drive the baseball.

On the mound shows solid mechanics with some recoil.  Fastball sat 79-81mph.  Breaking ball has 10-4 slider action to his 61-63mph.  Change has lots of armside run.
