2022 Puma Classic: Tall, large-framed left-hander with arm strength. Fair athlete. FB up to 89, mostly 86-88 with low-spin (1800s). Loose spin CB at 74 (1800 rpm). Raw talent with inconsistent delivery. Struggled to find zone during his inning of work.
Sam Bassett-Kennedy: LHP/1B, (2021) Pioneer, MI. Tennessee Commit, 6-foot-6, 187-pound. On the mound, sat with his fastball at 86-89 mph with a max of 90 mph. Curveball (76-78 mph), changeup (78-79 mph), slider (78-79 mph).
Body: 6-foot-6, 187-pound .
FB: T90. 86-89 mph. (Max spin 2187; Avg 2104).
CB: 76-78 mph

6-foot-5, 160 pound prospect had a dominant showing on the mound at the Jr Future Games. In three innings of work pounded the zone allowing one hit. Fastball sat 81-83 mph while touching 85 mph multiple times. Curve kept hitters off balance with a late hard break. Sinking change up low in the zone.
6-foot-5, 160 pound long lean lefty showed two way ability. At the plate has an easy swing on an uphill swing path making contact. Likes to work the pull side. Soft hands and good feet around 1B. Showed well on the mound using a high leg lift and long loose arm action. Throws from a high 3/4 arm angle with natural arm side tail. Fastball sat 81-83 mph, mixed in a late breaking sweeping curve. Change up stayed low in the strike zone.
6-foot-2, 145 pound long lanky prospect has a great frame to project out. Wide shoulders, with long legs. At the plate has his weight on the back leg using motion to throw his hands through the ball. Was able to square up a few to the right center gap. Good athleticism around the 1B bag. On the mound is where he excels. Hiding the ball well he delvers from a high 3/4 arm angle. Fastball showed good natural movement 73-75 mph. 2/8 breaking curve with late action 60-63 mph and a deceptive change up 65-66 mph.

2017 Junior Future Games
Tall, lanky, high-waisted, left-handed pitcher. On the mound, short arm action, high ¾ slot, hides ball well, deceptive delivery with long limbs flying all over. Fastball, arm side cut, glove-side run, not afraid to go inside, 74-76 mph. Curveball, 2/8 shape, near fastball arm speed, 63-65 mph. Commanded the zone with both pitches.
