Easy calm actions behind plate, above avg. receiver to both sides of plate, solid blocker with soft body keeping balls in front.

6/20/16- 5-foot-11, 165-pound right-handed hitting catcher. 7.42 runner at this event. Late load. Stuck on back-side at contact. Middle/away contact. 75 mph exit velocity. Good direction with feet, quick exchange and release, lower slot causes slight tailing action on throws. 73 mph arm strength with 2.16-2.25 pop times. Moves well behind plate, flexible, plays with energy, showed ability to receive and stick pitches.

Works underneath and up through baseball well. Quiet actions behind plate. Shows quickness to block and deaden ball in front. Easy effort on throws with solid accuracy to bag. 71 mph arm strength with 2.0 pop time. 7.34 runner.  Tall set-up with open stance, strides slightly across, hands drop in stride, flat swing plane with middle field approach. Bat should improve with strength gains. 77 mph exit velocity.

2/27/16- 5-foot-11, 165-pound right-handed hitting catcher. Open stance. Drops hands in stride. Flat swing plane. Some spin tendencies with lower half. Inconsistent barrel contact. 79 mph exit velocity. Shows ok hands receiving. Glove is slow occasionally. Low target. Narrow stance. 73 mph arm strength with 2.03 pop time with accuracy to bag.
