2/28/14- MN Preseason All-State
6-foot, 170-pound outfielder with lean athletic build who ran a 7.35 60. Basic clean swing mechanics at plate. Easily repeatable with little wasted movement. Solid contact throughout B.P. to mid-pull side of field. Minimal stride and weight shift takes barrel out of zone. 75 mph exit velocity off tee. Moves well in outfield. Has loose actions and shows ability to field. Hitch in arm action effects velocity and carry. 72 mph arm strength at this event. Has a lot of things to like; will follow to see if tools continue to develop. Would also benefit from added strength.

10/18/14 - 6-foot, 170-pound outfielder. Lean athletic build. Some wiry strength. 7.35 60. Simple hitting mechanics. Quiet actions. Able to repeat swing well. Does a good job of using hands in swing. Swing can be “controlled” at times. Would like to see him be more aggressive and let bat fly through zone. Continues to put clean quality swings on balls.  Moves well in outfield. Footwork on groundballs is very good. Showed low release on throws at times. Body actions are good. Has bounce to his step. With increased arm strength profiles as athletic right-fielder.

8/10/14 - 6-foot, 170-pound outfielder. 4.76 home to first time. Right handed hitter with tall athletic setup. Small easy stride into contact. Short bat path. Works to stay inside baseball at contact with short finish. Exit velocity of 73 mph. In the outfield shows easy actions and good reads on baseball.  Moves with fluidity.  Above average throwing mechanics with plus accuracy. Uses front side and lower half well in throws. 76 mph velocity from outfield.  Projectable body and a player to follow.
