Committed to University of Minnesota.
6/20/16- 6-foot-3, 180-pound left-handed pitcher. Lean athletic frame on mound that projects to add strength and size. Has solid body control with uptempo rhythm. Shorter arm circle on backside and is clean out front on release. Fastball was 82-84 mph with above avg. cutting action for strikes. Breaking ball shows promise with sweeping 2-plane break at 70-75 mph. Shows good feel for zone; consistently throwing changeup to arm-side of plate with fade.
3/13/16- 6-foot-3, 190-pound left-handed pitcher. Projectable frame on mound. Uptempo delivery. Lands slightly across body in stride. Clean mechanics with aggressive front side. Stays online producing 81-84 mph fastball with run. Tends to finish upright and will benefit from better finish on release. Breaking ball has 1/7 shape with tight rotation and is an above avg. pitch when released out front. Heavy action on changeup with good sink. Pounded zone with 3 pitches for strikes.

6-19-2018: Sophomore, LHP, Waterloo (Minnesota) – 6-foot-3, 190 pound, tall and long build. Deceptive left-handed SP. Delivery was very loose, L34, almost SA release.  Good arm speed with average effort. Release point was behind LHB, with whiplash action through his finish. Finishes slightly upright. FB had below average velocity at 84-85. It did have good two-seam run which bore into LHHs. Breaking ball was a SL, which sat 74-75. Plus movement, sweeping action that fooled several hitters. CH had good depth and drop to it. Both off-speeds were good pitches, that he threw in any count. Freshman to watch in his upcoming sophomore season as a Gopher. Only survived 4.1 innings in his outing, allowing 2 runs on 3 hits and 2 walks while striking out 3. More as a middle-reliever type at his current state. (Jake Stone)
