1/20/14 - Sims is an athletic-framed 5-foot-6 169-pound right handed hitting SS.  He throws with a ¾ arm slot and has a quick, clean transfer.  He playes through the ball and makes mostly accurate throws across the diamond.  His positional velo was 76 and he runs a 7.56 60.  Offensively, Sims has a level bat path that produces line drives to both gaps.  He has a balanced stance and short stride that accelerates his swing.  He has a an exit velo of 75 MPH.

1/20/14 – Sims is a 5-foot-9 169-pound right handed pitcher.  He has a loose, quick ¾ arm action that will add velo as he develops. His fastball was clocked at 73-76 MPH and his curveball has a 11/5 sharp break.  He throws his change-up at 70-71 MPH at near fastball arm speed.  As he continues to develop he will have better command.
