7/15/14 – Barton is an athletic 6-foot-0, 175-pound right-handed pitcher. He has an over-the-top delivery and loose arm action. Adam throws with some effort, keeps his shoulders level, and lands square to the target. Barton had a fastball velocity range of 75-78 MPH. His curveball was at 61-63 MPH with 12/6 tilt with late break. Adam also displayed a change-up that ranged from 62-63 with near fastball arm speed and good sink.

He starts with a smooth load and a short stride. He uses his lower half well, with a level bat path. Adam's swing produces line drives. He had an exit velo of 70 MPH.
