6/7/16 - Palmer is a 6-foot 175-pound left-handed hitting outfielder from Park Hill South in the Kansas City area.  He ran a 6.96 60, one of the top 60 times of the day, and a 4.65 home-to-first.  He posted an 88 mph exit velo, one of the top LHH velos on the day. At the plate, has an 88 mph positional velo, one of the top for the event, middle to pull approach, open stance, tall set up, body under control during swing. Singled to right field in game action.  In the outfield, has an 87 mph positional velo, one of the top for the event, over the top arm slot, arm works, creates momentum through the catch, quick feet with fluid transfer.
2/20/16 - Palmer is a 6-foot 180-pound left-handed hitting outfielder and right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2017 class from Park Hill South HS. Palmer ran a 4.52 home-to-first and has an exit velo of 83 mph.  At the plate, balanced set-up, short stride, quick and strong hands, mostly line drives to pull side.  In the outfield, 84 mph positional velo, one of the top outfield velos for the event, over the top release, clean exchange with fluid footwork, plays through the catch. On the mound, throws high percentage of strikes with three pitches, over the top release, slight pause at balance point, in line stride, body stays under  control, fastball has life with running action at 79-83 mph, throws for a strike, curveball at 71-72 mph, 11-to-5 shape, change up with fastball arm speed, 73-76 mph, showed a splitter with 10-to-4 action at 73 mph.
