8/2/16 - Breckner is a 6-foot-2 160-pound left-handed hitting outfielder in Missouri’s 2017 class.  He ran a 6.82 60, one of the top times of the event, and a 4.15 home-to-first, top time among LHH.  He has a 91 mph exit velo, one of the top velos of the day. At the plate, thin and open stance, leg kick, gap-to-gap approach, front side dominate, singled through the right side of the infield in game action.  In the outfield, high three quarters release, 82 mph positional velo, one of the best velos in the event, momentum through the catch, gains ground after catch, fluid exchange and footwork.  On the mound, Breckner has a high three quarters release, in line stride, throws with regular effort, fastball worked on a downhill plane, 78-80 mph, touching 81 mph, one of the top LHP velos of the event,  1-to-7 breaking ball, 62-64 mph, change up as fastball arm speed, down in the zone, 69-71 mph, aggressive on the mound, works quick, attacks hitters with fastball, fastball works on both sides of plate.
6/7/16 - Breckner is a 6-foot-2 160-pound left-handed hitting outfielder from Fair Grove HS in Southwest Missouri.  He ran a 6.87 60 and ran a 4.22 home-to-firs, one of the LHH times of the event.  He has an exit velo of 91 mph, one of the top for the event. At the plate, thin and open set up, controlled leg kick, swing produced pull side line drives during batting practice, balanced finish, singled through the right side in game action.  In the outfield, 80 mph positional velo, plays through the catch, high three quarters release, clean exchange, loose arm action, mostly accurate throws. On the mound, Breckner has a loose arm action with as simple and repeatable delivery, over the head wind up, throws strikes with three pitch mix, high three-quarters release, fastball at 78-82 mph, late running action, works the knees, breaking ball has 2-to-8 shape, 64-67 mph, change up is a plus pitch, late running action, fastball arm speed, 65-70 mph.

6/17/15 - Breckner is a 6-foot-1 150-pound left-handed pitcher in the 2017 class, and is trending up since his last event.  Breckner touched 80 mph with his fastball and worked 77-80 mph.  He has a slurve-type breaking ball at 63-66 mph with late action, change-up was 70-72 mph, down in the zone.  Breckner has a three-quarters release, raising his hands with knee during his delivery.  He repeats his release point, throwing a high number of strikes and creating ground ball contact.  Breckner’s feel for his pitches, continued growth and velo increase makes him a player to follow in the 2017 class.
10/18/14 - Breckner is a lean 6-foot-1 140-pound southpaw, works 70-75 with fastball,  low ¾ release, fastball has sink and run, 2-to-8 shape slider, 59-62 mph, late, “sweeping” break, change-up at near fastball arm speed, 65-70 mph, arm side release, command of three pitches and mixes pitches well, throws strikes, worked to 9 hitters in 25 pitches, drops into back leg at balance point, throws with regular effort, stays in line, athletic finish.
