9/18/16- RHH OF. McClellan arguably was one of the most athletic players in showcase. Flashes strength in his swing. Mid/pull approach. Ran a 6.82 60, 83 mph exit velocity, and posted a 90 mph arm from the outfield.

8/14/16- The #94 ranked outfielder in the state of Missouri for the 2018 class. 6-foot, 160-pound right-handed hitting outfielder ran a 7.02 60 yard sprint. At the plate, slightly open stance, long barrel path, slightly uphill swing. Line drive approach. Posted an exit velocity of 83 mph off a tee. In the outfield, plays reads with intention in the outfield, high ¾ arm action. Topped out at 89 mph from the outfield. On the mound, quick tempo, hands have a tendency to break late as weight drifts towards home, stays online to catcher. Sat 77-80 mph with his fastball, 66-68 mph breaking ball has slider spin.

6/14/16 - McClellan is a 5-foot-11 165-pound right-handed hitting outfielder  and pitcher in Missouri’s 2018 class.  He ran a 6.94 60, one of the top times of the event and a 4.51 home-to-first.  He has a 79 mph exit velo. At the plate, slightly open, in line stride, aggressive swing, quick bat, pull side line drives during batting practice, singled to centerfield in game action.  In the outfield, quick to ball, quick catch and throw, over the top release, accurate throws, some with carry, 83 mph positional velo, one of the top outfield velos on the day. McClellan has a high three-quarters release, quick and loose arm action, in line down the mound, throws with regular effort, fastball at 75-76 mph, some with cutting action, curveball at 64-65 mph, 12-to-6 shape.
