1/16/17 - Thomazin is a 6-foot-2 200-pound long levered infielder and pitcher.  On the mound, was 85-87 mph with fastball, change up at 79 mph, down in the zone and 75-77 mph breaking ball, some flashing late and sharp 12-to-6 action, has smooth action during infield evaluations, 81 mph positional velo.

7/19/16 - Thomazin is a 6-foot-2 190-pound right-handed hitting third baseman and right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2018 class.  He ran a 7.82 60 and has a 91 mph exit velo. At the plate, athletic stance, short in-line stride, loose and aggressive hands, consistent solid contact to the middle and pull side of the field, flashed power, advanced swing.  On the infield, 78 mph positional velo, high three quarters release, moves well to the ball, athletic actions, plays through the catch, clean transfer working with feet, accurate throws with carry. On the mound, Thomazin has a high three quarters delivery, thows with some effort, loose arm action, repeats release, throws strikes, fastball at 82-83 mph, some with late running action, 11-to-5 breaking ball, plus pitch, sharp and late break, lands for a strike, 71-73 mph, change up as arm side run, 73-75 mph, throws for a strike.
